Debate between Jean-Claude Juncker and Martin Schulz

The candidates of the two main European political groups (EPP and PES) running for the presidency of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker and Martin Schulz debated during the first face to face TV show on 9th April 2014 organised by the TV Channel 24 and RFI radio. The two men admitted that the crisis was not over, that budgetary discipline was necessary, that one of the priorities had to be youth employment, that credit access had to be facilitated to PME’s and that Europe should fight to counter illegal immigration.
